↗ “This world is but a canvas to our imagination” — Henry David Thoreau
Art imitates life while life instigates art. What we are is invariably reflected in what we do. We mostly draw inspiration and expression from our immediate environment and interactions in our day to day life. Therein exists a subtle yet complex parallel between our life experiences and our work which is inevitably entwined. Art is a palette of reality which finds expression in the most intimate aspects of our being within the circle of social life.
Art speaks through a language of metaphors, evolves through a range of icons and manifests in significant visual relationships. The mind revels in metaphors because a metaphor draws parallels between separate entitles and makes connections between otherwise unrelated ideas. A metaphor helps us perceive that which we already understand and that which we are trying to understand. Art is not what we see but what we make others see!
